This is a cause very near and dear to my heart. Both Eliana and Zoe have dysfunction in their mitochondria. this affects their muscles, their energy levels, and their ability to communicate and perform daily tasks

We are part of the lucky few in that it does not seem to be progressing. Most children with this dysfunction are not as fortunate as our girls. Life expectance is reduced and the heart break of their struggles is daily.
